Question 1

How does SkillzBench protect against prompt injection in agent skills?

Accepted Answer

Every skill goes through the Verify pillar: it's pinned to a commit SHA, validated, license-checked, security-scanned, and quality-judged before receiving a trust score. Combined with per-agent loadouts — where an agent only sees the skills and tools you explicitly enabled — you reduce exposure to injected instructions disguised as legitimate coding guidelines.

Question 2

What is 'Lift' and why is it shown separately from ratings?

Accepted Answer

Lift is the measured performance gain in percentage points from using a skill, determined by benchmarking it in a sandbox with the same model, with and without the skill. SkillzBench always shows Lift separately from ratings, and money never touches scores — so a well-marketed skill can't buy a good number.

Question 3

Does SkillzBench support script-bearing skills or only SKILL.md files?

Accepted Answer

The launch scope is instruction-only skills — SKILL.md plus text references. Script-bearing skills are listed link-out only, so you can find them but they aren't verified or benchmarked in the sandbox. This keeps the verified directory focused on the lowest-risk category of agent skills.

Question 4

When can I start using SkillzBench?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now, but the product itself is not yet public. Joining the waitlist gets you notified as each pillar (Discover, Verify, Benchmark, Equip, Stay current) comes online.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from skills.sh or ClawHub-style marketplaces?

Accepted Answer

Most marketplaces are GitHub aggregators with no security scanning, no code review, no creator verification, and no content moderation — which is why nearly of one registry was found tainted. SkillzBench is an independent testing lab and control panel: it verifies every version against a commit SHA, publishes measured Lift, enforces per-agent least privilege via one MCP server, and keeps money out of scoring.
