Question 1

How does SkillzBench security-scan the AI skills our security students use?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench's Verify pillar security-scans every skill, validates it, checks its license, and quality-judges it, with each version pinned to a commit SHA. Results feed a trust score from 0-100 built from security, quality, license, maintenance, and community signals. This matters because published research found roughly of skills carry at least one vulnerability.

Question 2

Can we control which AI skills each agent in our security lab can access?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SkillzBench's Equip pillar provides one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts — you toggle skills and tools per agent, and the agent only sees what was chosen for it. That supports org-level allowlists and audit capabilities on the Teams plan.

Question 3

What does SkillzBench cost for a security training program or small SOC team?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is planning a generous free tier, Pro at roughly $9-15/month for more agents and unlimited enabled skills, Teams at roughly $15-25 per seat/month for org loadouts, allowlists, and audit, and a Creator tier around $5-10/month for verified authors. Benchmark-as-a-service will be available for priority runs.

Question 4

Is SkillzBench live yet, and how do we get access for our cybersecurity upskilling program?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live, but the product itself is not yet public. Join the waitlist to be notified as the Discover, Verify, Benchmark, Equip, and Stay-current pillars come online.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just reading GitHub reviews before adopting a skill?

Accepted Answer

GitHub reviews are opinions; SkillzBench produces measurements. Every skill is benchmarked in a sandbox with the same model, with and without the skill, and the Lift is published in percentage points, always shown separately from ratings. Money never touches scores, and upstream changes trigger re-scans and re-benchmarks automatically.
