Question 1

How does SkillzBench handle script-bearing agent skills?

Accepted Answer

At launch, SkillzBench's verification and benchmarking scope covers instruction-only skills — SKILL.md packages plus text references. Script-bearing skills are listed link-out only, so you always know when a skill goes beyond instructions and carries execution risk.

Question 2

Can SkillzBench fit into our third-party risk management (TPRM) program?

Accepted Answer

Yes — agent skills are effectively anonymous third parties with access to your agents. SkillzBench provides trust scores from 0-100 built on security, quality, license, maintenance, and community signals, plus Teams-tier org loadouts, allowlists, and audit support, giving your TPRM framework a concrete way to vet and govern this new vendor category.

Question 3

How do I know a skill actually improves my agent instead of just adding prompt bloat?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench benchmarks every skill in a sandbox using the same model, run with and without the skill, and publishes the Lift in percentage points. Lift is always shown separately from ratings and money never touches scores, so the performance evidence stays independent from any commercial influence.

Question 4

When can my security team start using SkillzBench?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now, but the product is not yet public. Joining the waitlist gets you early access as the five pillars (Discover, Verify, Benchmark, Equip, Stay current) roll out.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just searching GitHub for SKILL.md files ourselves?

Accepted Answer

GitHub search gives you raw, unvetted packages — and published research found ~of skills carry at least one vulnerability. SkillzBench dedupes the landscape, pins versions to commit SHAs, security-scans and license-checks every skill, benchmarks real Lift, and lets you assign per-agent loadouts so agents only see approved skills. It's due diligence and governance, not just discovery.
