Question 1

How does SkillzBench help me vet AI agent skills before using them on client security work?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench verifies every skill by pinning its version to a commit SHA, then running validation, license checks, security scans and quality judging. Each skill also gets a 0-100 trust score built from security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals, so you can make an evidence-based decision before equipping anything on a client engagement.

Question 2

Can I prove to clients that a skill actually improves my agent's performance?

Accepted Answer

Yes — SkillzBench benchmarks every skill in a sandbox using the same model, with and without the skill, and publishes the Lift in percentage points. Lift is always shown separately from ratings, and money never touches scores, so the numbers you show clients are purely measurement-driven.

Question 3

What happens when a skill I depend on changes upstream on GitHub?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench tracks upstream changes continuously. When a skill you use changes, it re-scans and re-benchmarks the new version and notifies you, so you can decide whether to keep it in your loadout or pull it before it becomes a risk.

Question 4

How do I control which skills and tools each of my agents can access?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench provides one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts. You toggle individual skills and tools per agent, and the agent only sees what was chosen for it — nothing more. This keeps your AI toolchain's attack surface deliberate instead of accidental.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just pulling skills off GitHub myself?

Accepted Answer

Raw GitHub gives you no version pinning, no license clarity, no security scanning, and no performance evidence. SkillzBench is an independent testing lab: it dedupes skills, pins versions to commit SHAs, scans and validates them, benchmarks Lift in a sandbox, and keeps everything current with change notifications — all in one control panel, with money never touching scores.
