Question 1

How do I know an AI agent skill won't introduce vulnerabilities into my security tooling?

Accepted Answer

Published research found roughly of agent skills carry at least one vulnerability. SkillzBench addresses this by pinning every skill version to a commit SHA and running validation, license checks, security scans, and quality judgments, then issuing a 0-100 trust score built on security, quality, license, maintenance, and community signals.

Question 2

Can SkillzBench tell me whether a skill actually improves my agent's performance?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's the Benchmark pillar. SkillzBench tests every skill in a sandbox with the same model, with and without the skill, and publishes the Lift in percentage points. Lift is always shown separately from ratings, so performance data stays independent from quality judgments.

Question 3

How does this fit a zero trust implementation or co-managed security model?

Accepted Answer

Zero trust is about least privilege, and SkillzBench applies that to agent skills: the Equip pillar gives you one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts, so each agent only sees the skills and tools you explicitly chose. Teams plans add org-wide loadouts, allowlists, and audit for co-managed environments.

Question 4

Is SkillzBench available now, and what does rollout look like?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now, and early joiners get access as pillars roll out. Launch scope is instruction-only skills (SKILL.md plus text references); script-bearing skills are listed link-out only at launch.

Question 5

Why not just vet agent skills myself on GitHub?

Accepted Answer

Manual vetting doesn't scale: skills change upstream, forks proliferate, and there's no standardized benchmark. SkillzBench continuously crawls and dedupes skills from GitHub, re-scans and re-benchmarks on upstream changes, and notifies you — plus it's an independent lab where money never touches scores.
