Question 1

How does SkillzBench license-check AI agent skills for security firms?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench's Verify pillar pins every skill version to a commit SHA and runs validation, license-checking, security scanning and quality judging. License results feed into a 0-100 trust score alongside security, quality, maintenance and community signals, so you know a skill's licensing is clean before your agents ever load it. SkillzBench is pre-launch, and this pipeline is what the lab is actively building.

Question 2

Can we restrict which skills each of our agents can use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Equip pillar is built around one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts — you toggle skills and tools per agent, and the agent only sees what was chosen. The Teams tier is also planned to include org-wide loadouts, allowlists and audit capabilities for multi-site security operations.

Question 3

What happens when a skill we rely on changes upstream?

Accepted Answer

The Stay Current pillar tracks upstream changes to every skill you've enabled, then re-scans and re-benchmarks it and notifies you. If a skill that passed your original security and license review changes, you'll know before it becomes a compliance exposure.

Question 4

Is SkillzBench available now, and how do we get started?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist is live and the product itself is not yet public. Join the waitlist to be notified as the Discover, Verify, Benchmark, Equip and Stay Current pillars come online. A generous free tier is planned, with Pro, Teams and Creator tiers in development.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just pulling skills off GitHub ourselves?

Accepted Answer

Manual vetting gives you none of the guarantees: no commit SHA pinning, no standardized security scans, no license checks, and no measured Lift from identical-model benchmarking. SkillzBench is an independent lab — Lift is always shown separately from ratings and money never touches scores — so you get objective evidence of whether a skill helps or is risky, not marketing claims.
