Question 1

How does SkillzBench license-check AI agent skills used in education settings?

Accepted Answer

As part of the Verify pillar, SkillzBench pins every skill version to a commit SHA, then runs automated validation, a license-check, a security-scan and a quality-judgment. Results feed into a trust score from 0-100 built on security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals, so you can see the compliance posture of any skill before enabling it.

Question 2

What kinds of skills does SkillzBench actually test at launch?

Accepted Answer

Launch scope is instruction-only skills — SKILL.md packages plus text references. Script-bearing skills are listed link-out only, meaning you can see they exist but SkillzBench does not execute or benchmark them at launch. This keeps the verified catalog focused on what can be safely and consistently tested.

Question 3

Why should districts worry about AI skill compliance when they already struggle with teacher credential tracking?

Accepted Answer

Manual, paper-based credential tracking already causes delays, errors and no real-time compliance updates for teacher certification requirements — and AI agent skills introduce a parallel compliance surface with no visibility at all. Published research found ~of skills carry at least one vulnerability, so unvetted skills are a real risk layered on top of existing credential expiration tracking burdens.

Question 4

When can I start using SkillzBench for my school or district?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built. The waitlist and newsletter are live now, so joining today gets you launch notifications and early access. Once live, onboarding means browsing the verified catalog and configuring per-agent loadouts through the single MCP server — a process measured in hours, not weeks.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just letting teachers install skills from GitHub directly?

Accepted Answer

Direct installs mean no license-check, no security-scan, no version pinning and no idea whether a skill actually improves agent performance. SkillzBench provides all of that: verified, benchmarked skills with published Lift in percentage points, trust scores where money never touches ratings, and per-agent loadouts so agents only see what your team explicitly enabled.

Question 6

Does SkillzBench sell better scores to skill authors?

Accepted Answer

No. Money never touches scores — trust scores and Lift results are produced by the independent testing process, and ratings are always shown separately from any commercial relationship. That independence is core to why SkillzBench exists as a testing lab rather than a marketplace.
