Question 1

How does a skill license check protect my security company from compliance risk?

Accepted Answer

Every SKILL.md package SkillzBench verifies is license-checked and security-scanned, with the result folded into a 0-100 trust score alongside quality, maintenance and community signals. Each version is also pinned to a commit SHA, so you can audit exactly what your agents were running at any point in time.

Question 2

We already struggle with state security guard licensing requirements — why add AI skill compliance on top?

Accepted Answer

State-by-state officer licensing is already a heavy burden for multi-state operators, and unvetted agent skills add a second, invisible layer of license and security risk. SkillzBench centralizes that second layer: one trust score per skill, continuous re-scanning when upstream changes, and notifications when something shifts.

Question 3

Which AI agents and tools does SkillzBench work with?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is being built for SKILL.md instruction packages used by Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and chat-app agents. At launch, scope covers instruction-only skills; script-bearing skills are listed link-out only so you know what's beyond the verified boundary.

Question 4

When can my team start using SkillzBench?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now, and the product itself is not yet public. Joining the waitlist gets you early access as the Discover, Verify, Benchmark and Equip pillars roll out.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just browsing GitHub for agent skills ourselves?

Accepted Answer

GitHub tells you a skill exists; it doesn't tell you whether it's licensed, vulnerable, or actually helps. SkillzBench dedupes and crawls skills continuously, license-checks and security-scans every version, benchmarks Lift in a sandbox, and publishes trust scores where money never touches the ratings — due diligence you can't replicate by reading SKILL.md files manually.
