Question 1

How does SkillzBench license-check AI agent skills for security operations?

Accepted Answer

Every skill discovered by SkillzBench is pinned to a specific commit SHA, then put through validation, license checks, security scans and quality judging as part of the Verify pillar. That means you always know the exact version you're running and whether its license terms are safe for commercial use in your security firm.

Question 2

What is the Trust Score and can vendors pay to improve it?

Accepted Answer

The Trust Score is a 0-100 rating built from security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals. Money never touches scores — Lift is always shown separately from ratings, so a skill author can't buy a better result.

Question 3

We run Claude Code, Cursor and Gemini CLI — does SkillzBench work across agents?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SkillzBench is being built around instruction-only skills (SKILL.md plus text references) for agents including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI, delivered through one MCP server. Script-bearing skills are listed link-out only, since they carry additional risk.

Question 4

When can my security firm actually start using SkillzBench?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now. Join the waitlist to be notified as the Discover, Verify, Benchmark, Equip and Stay Current pillars come online; early access will roll out from there.

Question 5

How is this different from just grabbing skills off GitHub myself?

Accepted Answer

Raw GitHub skills come with no verification — published research found roughly carry at least one vulnerability. SkillzBench dedupes skills, pins versions to commit SHAs, license-checks and security-scans them, benchmarks them with and without the skill on the same model, and keeps watching upstream changes so you get notified rather than surprised.
