Question 1

How does SkillzBench's license check work for AI agent skills?

Accepted Answer

The Verify pipeline pins every skill version to a commit SHA and runs a license check as part of validation, alongside security scanning and quality judging. That gives you a record of what license each skill carries and exactly which version your team evaluated — useful when clients or auditors ask about the software your agents run.

Question 2

Does SkillzBench support the AI coding agents our security engineers already use?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is built around SKILL.md instruction packages for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and chat-app agents. Equip provides one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts, so each agent only sees the skills and tools toggled for it. Note that launch scope covers instruction-only skills; script-bearing skills are listed link-out only.

Question 3

Can SkillzBench help with security compliance concerns around adopting AI tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's the core of the design. Every skill gets a security scan, a Trust Score from 0-100 built from security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals, and a published benchmark showing its actual Lift. Research found roughly of skills carry at least one vulnerability, so pre-adoption scanning closes a real gap in most firms' AI adoption process.

Question 4

Is SkillzBench available now, and what will it cost?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist is live today. Planned pricing includes a generous free tier, Pro at roughly $9-15/mo for more agents and unlimited enabled skills, Teams at roughly $15-25 per seat/mo with org loadouts, allowlists and audit, and a Creator tier for verified authors.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just pulling skills off GitHub ourselves?

Accepted Answer

GitHub gives you a README; SkillzBench gives you evidence. Every skill is deduped from continuous crawling, pinned to a commit SHA, license-checked, security-scanned, quality-judged, and benchmarked in a sandbox with the same model to measure real Lift. And because SkillzBench is an independent lab — not a marketplace — money never touches scores, and Lift is always shown separately from ratings.
