Question 1

How does SkillzBench license-check AI agent skills before we use them?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench's Verify pillar pins every skill version to a commit SHA and runs a license check alongside validation, security scanning and quality judging. That means you know exactly which version you're deploying and whether its license permits your use before it touches your operations.

Question 2

Can SkillzBench tell us which AI skills actually improve our agents versus which are risky?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's the core of the Benchmark pillar. Every skill is tested in a sandbox with the same model, with and without the skill, and the Lift is published in percentage points. Combined with security scanning (research suggests ~of skills carry at least one vulnerability), you get both the upside and the risk in one view.

Question 3

With margins this thin in security services, how do we know an AI skill is worth the cost?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench shows Lift separately from ratings and money never touches scores, so you see genuine performance impact rather than paid placement. A generous free tier is planned, with Pro at roughly $9-15/mo for more agents and unlimited enabled skills, so you can validate value before committing budget.

Question 4

Is SkillzBench available now, and when can our security firm start using it?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live today, but the product itself is not yet public. Joining the waitlist gets you early access as the Discover, Verify, Benchmark and Equip pillars come online.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just pulling skills off GitHub ourselves?

Accepted Answer

Raw GitHub repos give you no license verification, no security scanning, no version pinning and no performance data. SkillzBench dedupes crawled skills, pins each version to a commit SHA, assigns a 0-100 trust score from security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals, and keeps monitoring upstream changes so you're notified when a skill shifts.
