Question 1

How do I check the license on an AI agent skill before my security team deploys it?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench's Verify pillar license-checks every skill version it catalogs, alongside validation, security scanning and quality judgment. Each version is pinned to a commit SHA, so you know exactly which code snapshot you approved and can document it for audits.

Question 2

What does SkillzBench do about vulnerable agent skills in the SKILL.md ecosystem?

Accepted Answer

Published research found roughly of skills carry at least one vulnerability. SkillzBench security-scans every skill version, publishes a 0-100 trust score built from security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals, and re-scans when upstream changes occur.

Question 3

Can SkillzBench help us stay compliant with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 when using AI tools?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench gives you the traceability and evidence layer: commit SHA pinning, documented license checks, security scans, and per-agent loadouts showing exactly which skills each agent can access. That provenance supports the third-party and software supply chain controls those frameworks expect — though SkillzBench is a testing lab, not a compliance certification body.

Question 4

When can my security team start using SkillzBench?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now. Early access members will get the Discover, Verify and Benchmark pillars first, with the MCP server and per-agent loadouts rolling out as the platform ships. Launch scope covers instruction-only skills (SKILL.md plus text references); script-bearing skills are listed link-out only.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just browsing GitHub for agent skills?

Accepted Answer

GitHub gives you raw, unvetted packages with no license review, no security scan, and no performance evidence. SkillzBench dedupes the catalog, verifies every version, benchmarks each skill in a sandbox with and without the skill to publish a real Lift number, and keeps ratings independent of money — so you're choosing from tested, scored options instead of hoping for the best.

Question 6

Does SkillzBench support script-bearing skills or only instruction files?

Accepted Answer

At launch, SkillzBench covers instruction-only skills — SKILL.md files plus text references — which can be fully verified and benchmarked. Script-bearing skills are listed link-out only, so you can discover them but they don't go through the full verification pipeline.
