Question 1

How does SkillzBench verify a SKILL.md skill I publish for Claude Code or Cursor?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench pins every version of your skill to a commit SHA, then runs validation, license checks, security scans and quality judging. Launch scope covers instruction-only skills (SKILL.md plus text references); script-bearing skills are listed link-out only.

Question 2

Can buyers see proof my skill actually improves agent performance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SkillzBench benchmarks every skill in a sandbox with the same model, with and without the skill, and publishes the Lift in percentage points. Lift is always shown separately from ratings, and money never touches scores.

Question 3

What does the Creator tier for verified authors cost?

Accepted Answer

The Creator tier is planned at roughly $5-10/mo for verified authors, with benchmark-as-a-service available for priority runs. SkillzBench is pre-launch, so join the waitlist for early access and pricing confirmation.

Question 4

What happens when I update my skill after it's been verified?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is building upstream change tracking: when your skill changes, it's re-scanned and re-benchmarked, and you're notified. Each new version gets pinned to its own commit SHA, so verification stays accurate over time.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from publishing in a skills registry or marketplace?

Accepted Answer

Marketplaces list skills; SkillzBench independently tests them. You get a 0-100 Trust score from security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals, published Lift benchmarks, and version pinning — and because money never touches scores, your badge carries real weight with security-conscious buyers.
