Question 1

How does SkillzBench verify that my agent skill is secure before I publish it?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is building a verification pipeline that pins every version of your skill to a commit SHA, then validates it, checks its license, runs a security scan, and applies a quality judgment. The result feeds into a 0-100 trust score from security, quality, license, maintenance, and community signals. Note that SkillzBench is pre-launch — join the waitlist to be notified when verification opens.

Question 2

What does the Creator tier include for verified skill authors?

Accepted Answer

The planned Creator tier (~$5-10/mo) is designed for verified authors and includes author verification plus priority benchmark-as-a-service runs. Exact features are still being finalized ahead of launch, so joining the waitlist is the best way to get pricing details first.

Question 3

Does SkillzBench support script-bearing skills or only SKILL.md instruction packages?

Accepted Answer

Launch scope is instruction-only skills — SKILL.md plus text references. Script-bearing skills will be listed link-out only rather than fully benchmarked, reflecting the additional security surface scripts introduce.

Question 4

How long does the verification and benchmarking process take once I submit a skill?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch, so exact turnaround times aren't published yet. The process involves pinning your version to a commit SHA, running validation, license, and security checks, quality judgment, and a sandbox benchmark with the same model with and without the skill. Priority benchmark-as-a-service runs will be available for faster turnaround.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from publishing on a marketplace like ClawHub or skills.sh?

Accepted Answer

Marketplaces list skills; SkillzBench independently tests them. Rather than self-reported quality or marketplace curation, every version is pinned to a commit SHA, security-scanned, license-checked, and benchmarked in a sandbox with the published Lift shown separately from ratings. Money never touches scores, so verification can't be bought — and ongoing tracking re-verifies your skills as they change.
