Question 1

How does SkillzBench verify that my agent skill is safe to publish?

Accepted Answer

Every skill version is pinned to a commit SHA, validated against the SKILL.md format, license-checked, security-scanned, and quality-judged. Those signals feed a trust score from 0-100 that buyers can use to compare your skill against unvetted alternatives.

Question 2

Can I sell AI agent skills through SkillzBench?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is building a Creator plan (roughly $5-10/mo) for verified authors, plus benchmark-as-a-service for priority runs. The platform's role is verification and benchmarking — proving your skill is safe and effective — which is the credibility layer monetization depends on.

Question 3

What does the Lift score mean for my skill?

Accepted Answer

Lift is the measured performance improvement your skill provides, tested in a sandbox with the same model, with and without your skill, and published in percentage points. It's always shown separately from ratings, and money never touches scores.

Question 4

Does SkillzBench support script-bearing skills and MCP servers?

Accepted Answer

At launch, SkillzBench covers instruction-only skills — SKILL.md plus text references. Script-bearing skills are listed link-out only. On the consumption side, SkillzBench is building one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts so users toggle skills and tools per agent.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from marketplaces like SkillsMP or ClawHub?

Accepted Answer

Marketplaces have hosted tens of thousands of skills with little or no vetting — research found nearly of one registry tainted. SkillzBench is an independent testing lab: it crawls and dedupes skills from GitHub, verifies every version, and benchmarks actual performance rather than just hosting listings.
