Question 1

How does SkillzBench help a contract security firm evaluate AI skills before adding them to operations?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench verifies every skill by pinning its version to a commit SHA, then validating, license-checking, security-scanning, and quality-judging it. Each skill also gets benchmarked in a sandbox with the same model, with and without the skill, so you see the published Lift in percentage points and a 0-100 Trust score before equipping anything.

Question 2

What does the Trust score actually measure for security-sensitive deployments?

Accepted Answer

The Trust score ranges from 0-100 and combines security, quality, license, maintenance, and community signals. It's produced by an independent lab — not a marketplace — and money never touches scores, so the number reflects genuine risk signals rather than promotional placement.

Question 3

Is SkillzBench available now, or should my guard force management team wait?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built. The waitlist/newsletter is live now, so security firms can reserve early access. Benchmarking, scanning, and the MCP server are what SkillzBench is building and will offer at launch — no live results are being claimed before then.

Question 4

How do we control which AI skills each of our agents can use?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench's Equip pillar provides one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts. You toggle individual skills and tools per agent, and the agent only sees what was chosen — so a reporting agent and a client-communications agent can carry entirely different skill sets.

Question 5

How is this different from just pulling skills straight from GitHub for our security operations stack?

Accepted Answer

GitHub gives you the code but no independent verdict. SkillzBench continuously crawls and dedupes skills, pins versions to commit SHAs, runs security scans and license checks, benchmarks each skill in a sandbox with the same model, and publishes Lift separately from ratings. It also tracks upstream changes and re-scans and re-benchmarks automatically, so a skill can't silently drift into becoming a liability.
