Question 1

How does SkillzBench handle MCP server sprawl across multiple teams?

Accepted Answer

The Discover pillar continuously crawls and dedupes skills and MCP servers from GitHub, giving your organization a single deduplicated catalog instead of a shadow catalog of unvetted integrations. Teams-tier pricing is designed for org loadouts, allowlists and audit, so governance is built in from the start.

Question 2

What exactly does the trust score measure for an MCP server or skill?

Accepted Answer

Trust scores run 0-100 and are built from five signal categories: security, quality, license, maintenance and community. The benchmark Lift is always shown separately from ratings, and money never touches scores — no paid placement can inflate a listing.

Question 3

Can prompt injection and malicious skills expose our sensitive data through MCP servers?

Accepted Answer

Prompt injection is a real risk — 50% of MCP adopters cite security complexity as their top challenge. SkillzBench addresses the supply side by security-scanning every version, pinning it to a commit SHA, and quality-judging instruction packages before they're listed, so risky skills are flagged before your agents load them.

Question 4

When can my team actually start using SkillzBench?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now, and the product itself is not yet public. Join the waitlist for early access as the Discover, Verify, Benchmark, Equip and Stay-current pillars come online.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just browsing GitHub or an MCP directory myself?

Accepted Answer

Directories list; SkillzBench verifies and proves. Every version is pinned to a commit SHA, license-checked and security-scanned, every skill is benchmarked in a sandbox with the same model with and without the skill, and the Lift is published in percentage points. Plus Equip gives you per-agent loadouts through one MCP server — something no raw GitHub search or link-out directory offers.
