Question 1

Which coding agents and chat-app agents do SkillzBench loadouts work with?

Accepted Answer

Agent skills are SKILL.md instruction packages built for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and chat-app agents. SkillzBench provides one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts, so you toggle skills and tools per agent and the agent only sees what was chosen.

Question 2

How does SkillzBench decide whether a skill is safe for classroom use?

Accepted Answer

Every skill is pinned to a commit SHA, validated, license-checked, security-scanned, and quality-judged, then rolled into a trust score from 0-100 based on security, quality, license, maintenance, and community signals. Benchmark results (Lift) are always shown separately from ratings, and money never touches scores.

Question 3

Can I use SkillzBench with script-bearing skills, not just instruction files?

Accepted Answer

At launch, SkillzBench's scope is instruction-only skills — SKILL.md packages plus text references. Script-bearing skills are listed link-out only, so you can find them but they aren't verified or benchmarked in the same depth yet.

Question 4

When can teachers actually start building loadouts?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now, but the product itself is not yet public. Joining the waitlist puts you first in line as the Discover, Verify, Benchmark, and Equip pillars come online.

Question 5

Why not just browse GitHub for SKILL.md files myself?

Accepted Answer

GitHub has thousands of skills with no signal about quality or safety — published research found ~of skills carry at least one vulnerability. SkillzBench continuously crawls and dedupes skills, security-scans and benchmarks each one, and publishes the Lift in percentage points so you're choosing from verified options, not raw listings.
