Question 1

How does SkillzBench measure whether a recruiting skill actually improves my agent's performance?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench benchmarks every skill in a sandbox using the same model, running tasks with and without the skill, and publishes the Lift in percentage points. Lift is always shown separately from trust ratings, and money never touches scores, so the benchmark reflects actual performance difference, not marketing.

Question 2

What kinds of agent skills does SkillzBench support at launch?

Accepted Answer

Launch scope covers instruction-only skills — SKILL.md packages plus text references — for agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. Script-bearing skills are listed link-out only, so you can discover them but SkillzBench won't equip them directly.

Question 3

How do you handle security risks in third-party skills, given the research showing ~26% carry vulnerabilities?

Accepted Answer

Every skill version is pinned to a commit SHA, then validated, license-checked, security-scanned, and quality-judged. Skills also receive a 0-100 trust score built from security, quality, license, maintenance, and community signals, so risky skills are visible before you ever add them to a loadout.

Question 4

Can I control which skills each individual recruiting agent uses?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Equip gives you one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts. You toggle skills and tools per agent, and the agent only sees what was chosen. Teams will also get org loadouts, allowlists, and audit capabilities under the planned Teams tier.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just installing skills directly from GitHub?

Accepted Answer

Raw GitHub installs give you unverified code with no evidence of impact. SkillzBench dedupes crawled skills, pins versions to commit SHAs, runs security and license checks, benchmarks the Lift in a sandbox, and then lets you equip verified skills through controlled per-agent loadouts — plus it tracks upstream changes and re-benchmarks automatically.
