Question 1

What exactly is a SkillzBench loadout and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

A loadout is the set of skills and tools you enable for a specific agent. Through the Equip pillar, you use one MCP server plus per-agent toggles — when you choose skills for an agent, the agent only sees what was chosen. That gives you least-privilege control instead of every agent having access to everything.

Question 2

How does SkillzBench measure whether a skill actually helps?

Accepted Answer

The Benchmark pillar tests every skill in a sandbox with the same model, running it with and without the skill, and publishes the Lift in percentage points. Lift is always shown separately from the 0-100 trust score, so performance evidence and quality ratings never get blended together.

Question 3

Are agent skills from GitHub really a security risk?

Accepted Answer

Yes — published research found roughly of skills carry at least one vulnerability, and 88% of organizations have reported confirmed or suspected agent security incidents. That's why SkillzBench pins every version to a commit SHA, validates it, checks its license, and security-scans it before listing.

Question 4

When can I start using SkillzBench?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now, but the product itself is not yet public. Joining the waitlist puts you in line as the Discover, Verify, Benchmark, Equip and Stay-current pillars roll out. At launch, scope covers instruction-only skills (SKILL.md plus text references); script-bearing skills are listed link-out only.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just searching GitHub or a skill marketplace?

Accepted Answer

GitHub gives you raw, unverified skills with no benchmark data; marketplaces often blend promotion with rankings. SkillzBench is an independent testing lab: it dedupes and verifies skills, publishes sandbox-measured Lift, and keeps money from ever touching trust scores. You get evidence and control, not a storefront.
