Question 1

How does benchmark-as-a-service actually measure whether an AI agent skill helps my marketing?

Accepted Answer

Every skill is tested in a sandbox with the same model, run both with and without the skill enabled. SkillzBench publishes the difference as a Lift in percentage points, so you see the skill's isolated contribution rather than a blended performance number.

Question 2

Can paid customers buy better scores or inflated Lift results?

Accepted Answer

No. Lift is always shown separately from ratings, and money never touches scores. Benchmark-as-a-service buys you priority runs — faster access to testing — not better outcomes. The trust score 0-100 is computed from security, quality, license, maintenance, and community signals only.

Question 3

Are the skills I submit safe to run in my marketing agents?

Accepted Answer

Before benchmarking, every skill goes through the Verify pipeline: it's pinned to a specific commit SHA, validated, license-checked, security-scanned, and quality-judged. That matters because published research found roughly of agent skills carry at least one vulnerability. Note that launch scope covers instruction-only skills (SKILL.md plus text references); script-bearing skills are listed link-out only.

Question 4

When can I start using SkillzBench's benchmark-as-a-service?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist and newsletter are live now. Joining the waitlist reserves your spot, and benchmark-as-a-service customers get priority runs as the Benchmark pillar comes online. Pricing is planned around a generous free tier with Pro, Teams, and Creator tiers alongside priority-run service.

Question 5

How is this different from generic marketing benchmark reports or vendor scorecards?

Accepted Answer

Generic reports give you industry averages — email marketing benchmarks, conversion rate benchmarks by industry — that vary wildly by methodology and rarely diagnose anything. Vendor scorecards often mix ratings with commercial interests. SkillzBench gives you controlled, same-model A/B results for the exact skills your agents run, with Lift separated from ratings and a transparent trust score — a competitive benchmarking analysis of your actual tooling, not someone else's average.
