Question 1

How can I prove agent skills on my resume when employers can't verify them?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is building a Benchmark pillar that tests every skill in a sandbox with the same model, with and without the skill, and publishes the Lift in percentage points. Instead of listing 'prompt engineering skills' with no evidence, you'll be able to cite a measured, reproducible Lift tied to a skill version pinned to a commit SHA — proof employers can inspect rather than take on faith. Note that SkillzBench is pre-launch; join the waitlist for early access.

Question 2

Is it safe to learn and use SKILL.md packages pulled from GitHub?

Accepted Answer

Published research found roughly of agent skills carry at least one vulnerability, so caution is warranted. SkillzBench's Verify pillar (in development) will pin every version to a commit SHA, validate it, license-check it, security-scan it, and quality-judge it, plus assign a 0-100 trust score from security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals. At launch, instruction-only skills (SKILL.md plus text references) will be fully in scope; script-bearing skills will be listed link-out only.

Question 3

What's the difference between SkillzBench's trust score and the Lift metric?

Accepted Answer

The two are deliberately kept separate. The trust score (0-100) reflects security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals — how safe and well-maintained a skill is. Lift is the measured percentage-point improvement when a benchmarked skill is added to the same model in a sandbox. SkillzBench always shows them separately, and money never touches scores, so a skill can be popular but low-Lift, or high-Lift but poorly maintained — you see both truths.

Question 4

When will SkillzBench be available, and how do I get started as a job seeker?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist is live now, and the product itself is not yet public. Join the waitlist, and once live you'll be able to discover deduplicated skills from GitHub, verify them, review benchmark Lift results, and build per-agent loadouts through one MCP server. Early access will roll out to waitlist members as the five pillars come online.

Question 5

Why use SkillzBench instead of just browsing GitHub or following AI tutorials?

Accepted Answer

GitHub shows you stars and READMEs, not whether a skill actually improves agent output — and it can't tell you a skill carries a vulnerability. Tutorials teach tools but leave no verifiable evidence of capability. SkillzBench is an independent testing lab: it deduplicates skills from GitHub, pins versions, security-scans and license-checks them, benchmarks them with and without the skill, and gives you per-agent loadouts via one MCP server — turning self-study into measured, portable, employer-verifiable proof.
