Question 1

How does SkillzBench measure whether an agent skill actually improves performance?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench benchmarks every skill in a sandbox using the same model, running tasks both with and without the skill, then publishes the difference as a Lift in percentage points. Lift is always shown separately from Trust Score ratings, and money never touches scores, so the numbers stay independent and comparable across skills.

Question 2

Can I control which skills each of my marketing agents can use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SkillzBench's Equip pillar provides one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts — you toggle skills and tools per agent, and each agent only sees what was chosen for it. This keeps your campaign, content, and research agents scoped to exactly the capabilities you've verified.

Question 3

What happens when a skill I'm using gets updated upstream on GitHub?

Accepted Answer

The Stay Current pillar tracks upstream changes to skills you've enabled, then re-scans and re-benchmarks them and notifies you. Because every version is pinned to a commit SHA, you always know exactly which version you're running and whether the update changed its security posture or Lift.

Question 4

Is SkillzBench available now, and how do I get access?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built — the waitlist/newsletter is live but the product itself is not yet public. Join the waitlist to be notified when the Discover, Verify, Benchmark, Equip, and Stay Current pillars come online. Pricing is planned around a generous free tier, with Pro at roughly $9-15/mo and Teams at roughly $15-25/seat/mo.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just reading GitHub reviews and picking popular skills?

Accepted Answer

Popularity isn't proof. SkillzBench independently validates, license-checks, security-scans, and quality-judges every skill version, benchmarks it for Lift, and combines security, quality, license, maintenance, and community signals into a 0-100 Trust Score. Script-bearing skills are listed link-out only, and the launch scope covers instruction-only skills (SKILL.md plus text references) — so you know exactly what's being tested.
