Question 1

How does SkillzBench measure whether an agent skill actually improves performance?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is building sandboxed benchmark runs that test every skill with the same model, with and without the skill, and publish the Lift in percentage points. That with/without comparison is the core of the methodology, so you see the skill's actual contribution rather than a subjective rating. Lift is always shown separately from ratings to keep measurement and opinion distinct.

Question 2

What does the 0-100 Trust score actually take into account?

Accepted Answer

The Trust score is computed from security, quality, license, maintenance and community signals. Every skill version is pinned to a commit SHA, validated, license-checked, security-scanned and quality-judged before scoring. Money never touches scores, so the score reflects the skill itself, not commercial placement.

Question 3

Can I control exactly which skills and tools each client's agent can use?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the Equip pillar delivers one MCP server plus per-agent loadouts. You toggle skills and tools per agent, and the agent only sees what was chosen. This is designed to make scoping, governance and audits straightforward when you're configuring agents across multiple clients.

Question 4

Is SkillzBench available now, and how do I get access?

Accepted Answer

SkillzBench is pre-launch and actively being built; the waitlist and newsletter are live today. Join the waitlist to be notified as the Discover, Verify, Benchmark, Equip and Stay Current pillars come online. The launch scope covers instruction-only skills (SKILL.md plus text references); script-bearing skills will be listed link-out only.

Question 5

How is SkillzBench different from just reading a skill's GitHub repo and reviews?

Accepted Answer

Repos give you stars and READMEs, not measurements. SkillzBench continuously crawls and dedupes skills from GitHub, pins each version to a commit SHA, security-scans and license-checks it, benchmarks it in a sandbox, and keeps watching upstream — re-scanning, re-benchmarking and notifying you when things change. As an independent testing lab from AIQ Labs, its scores are never influenced by commercial placement.
